Max Morrien is a passionate paraglider, soaring specialist and trip organizer at SoaringTrips. His journey is driven by a fascination with one of the purest forms of free flight: using the natural lift created by mountains, cliffs and coastal dunes to stay airborne for hours. Known within the SoaringTrips community for his dedication to soaring, Max has built his flying around exploring sites, understanding conditions and helping other pilots experience the freedom of staying in the air without an engine. Max is also presented by SoaringTrips as one of Europe’s first dedicated soaring pilots, reflecting his early and continuing focus on developing the European soaring scene. His experience has taken him from Dutch coastal dunes to the mountains and coastal sites of Spain, constantly searching for new places where pilots can fly, explore and progress. As a trip organizer, Max combines his passion for flying with a practical approach to travelling. He helps pilots choose suitable destinations, understand local conditions and make the most of each flying day. But SoaringTrips is about more than simply getting airborne — it is about the complete experience: discovering new places, meeting fellow pilots, sharing knowledge and creating memorable flying adventures.
